Janie Earlene Gilley, 84, Russellville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Russellville Healthcare.

Mrs. Gilley was a member of Mt. Home #1 Missionary Baptist Church.

The visitation was Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following in the chapel. Billy Myrick officiated the service.  Burial was at Bethlehem Cemetery.

She is survived by son, Bill Gilley and wife, Pat; grandsons, Levi Gilley and wife, Whitney, Caleb Gilley and wife, Haley, Mike Gilley and wife, Connie; granddaughters, Tammy James, Karla Gilley; great-grandchildren, Conner Gilley, Chris James, Brandon James, Heather Galloway, J.T Gilley, and Hannah James; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Gilley; step-son, Jimmy Dail “J.D.” Gilley; father, James Arthur King; mother, Josie King; sisters, Fannie King, Odie King George, Pearlene King Kirby, Polly King Hunter; brothers, Ollie King and Mike King.

The pallbearers were Chris James, Brandon James, Brian Galloway, Jeff Campbell, Michael King, and Tim Garrison.  The honorary pallbearers were Larry Kirby, James “June Bug” Kirby, Donald Miller, Lowell Farris, and Ralph Bratcher.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Russellville Health Care for their love and care of our mother and grandmother.
