Mary Theanzy Hargett, 70, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at her residence.
She was born October 6, 1943, in Haleyville. She worked at Golden Manufacturing for 26 years. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Services were held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery in Vina.
Survivors are her husband, Lavone Hargett, of Red Bay; two brothers, William “Bill” Poores of Washington and Charles Lee Poores of Florence; one sister, Earnestine Hurley of Vina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Poores; two brothers, Coleman and Walker Poores; and a sister, Julie Poores.
Pallbearers will be Randy McKim, Bobby Clark, Billy Wayne Entrekin, Ronnie Joe Williams, Tiffin King and Rodney Johnson.
Visitation was on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay.
