Betty Hester Cantrell, 79, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at ECM Hospital.

The visitation was Friday, December 20, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral was Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Jerry Hester officiated the service.   Burial was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Cantrell Gilbert and husband, Keith, Tupelo, Miss; grandchildren, Alex Gilbert, Great Lakes, Ill, Katie Gilbert, Tupelo, Miss; siblings, Mary Jo Britton, Dorothy Oliver, Margie Steele, Carolyn White, Jennifer Butler, Mike Hester, Ricky Hester; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Cantrell; and parents, Kelly and Annie (Skidmore) Hester.

The pallbearers were Jimmy Britton, Marty Britton, Matthew Britton, Tommy Britton, Jim Butler, and John Abbott.
