Mildred Kuykendall Thorn, 86, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born Nov. 28, 1927 in Colbert County, and was a homemaker.
Services were Friday, Dec. 13, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. with Bro. Ray Kirk officiating. Burial was in Dempsey Cemetery, Russellville.
Survivors are her husband, Billy Thorn, Red Bay; two children, Wayne Thorn and wife, Debbie, and Rhonda Thorn, all of Red Bay; and one grandson, Joshua Thorn, Red Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. Kuykendall and Mary Cora Thorn Kuykendall, a sister, Nanalou Hellums and a brother, Edward Kuykendall.
Pallbearers were Roger Thorn, Gary Thorn, Michael Moomaw, L.V. Russell, Harold Watson and Danny Wooten.
Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 12, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
