Daisy C.E. Hockney, age 85, Russellville, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 013 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation was Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at Akins Funeral Home prior to the funeral at Knights of Pythias with Bro. Ottie Sandusky. Interment was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by parents, Giles Alonzo South and Annie Lee South; sister, Annie Mae Allen; brothers, Louis “BoBo” South, James South, Raymond South.

She is survived by her daughter, Liz Hockney Sykes and husband Derrik; siblings, Willo “Billie” Jordan, Eulla Culvert, Robert South and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Brandon Giles Sykes, Brittany Elizabeth Sykes, Kara Blaine Sykes; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brandon G. Sykes, Joseph Keelon, Wayne Mann, Justin Mann, Rocky Franks, Shannon Robbins, Onis Robbins, Rodney South, and Joshua Strange.

Special thanks to Terrace Manor and nurses Meredith, Emily, and Rosa. Also Russellville Hospital nurses on 2nd floor.
