John Preston Campbell, 73, Russellville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Russellville Hospital.

He was a retired machinist at TVA.

The visitation was on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral was held Monday, November 25, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service was Bro. Roger Martin and Bro. Tim Smith. Burial followed at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Helen Campbell; brother, Jimmy Campbell; sister, Peggy Anglin; and daughter, Sandra Fisher.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Emma Jean Campbell; daughter, Ellen Patrick and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Chris Fisher, Ashley Slatton and husband, Jeff, Adam Fisher, Haylee Patrick; great-grandchildren, Aaron Fisher, Brittany Fisher, Harlee Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers were Doug Saint, Tim Murray, Richard McGee, Freddie Pounders, and Barry Smallwood. The honorary pallbearers will be Obie McDougle and Gary Quinn.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Terrace Manor Nursing Home, the nurses of Russellville Hospital ICU, and the nurses on the 1st Floor West at ECM Hospital for their love and care of our family.
