Maxzene Kimbrough Hester, 80, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.

Mrs. Hester was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Waco Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and choir member.  She was retired from Hester Printing and was a member of the Waco Homemakers’ Club.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Billy George.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Survivors include husband, R.C. Hester; children, Sherrie Diana Holland and husband, Jay, and Robert Mack Hester and wife, Carol, all of Russellville; sister-in-law, Mary Kimbrough; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Benjamin “Mack” and Lassie Inez Floyd Kimbrough; brother, Jerry Don Kimbrough.
