Eddie Ricketts, 60, Spruce Pine, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jack Henson, Bro. Charlie Britnell, and Bro. Gerald Ricketts officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Howell Ricketts; children, Andrea Ricketts, Kenny Ricketts, Amanda Ricketts, Steve Pounders, Korey Pounders and wife, Erin, Kaysie Pounders and husband, Dustin, Andrea Scott and husband, Stevie; grandchildren, Brooke Pounders, Alayna Pounders, Cyndie Pounders, Ryan Scott, Summer Scott; special nephew, Brian Wilkinson and wife, Angi, and their baby, Amberlyn; brother, Kenneth “Sambo” Laws and wife, June; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bufford and Francis Mary Ricketts; sister, Faye Wilkinson; uncle, Noah Ricketts; and son, John Mark Pounders.
