The Russellville Golden Tigers golf team posted a score of 308 on day one of the state tournament at The Shoals Monday. That was good enough for first place, with St. Paul’s nipping at their heels with a 312. Russellville has a solid chance to place first in the tournament, but the Golden Tigers must stay ahead of the competition on day two. Final scores and coverage from the tournament may be found in Wednesday’s edition of The Franklin County Times.
