Thanks for all the support

The Russellville City Schools Education Foundation is very grateful for the wonderful support shown by those who bought dinner tickets and attended our first annual scholarship dinner.

The fundraiser was a success, thanks to the sale of tickets and the monies from the silent auction held at the event.

The Foundation will be presenting four scholarships to RHS graduating seniors at Honors Night 2013.

Special thanks to Twin Pines and Howard and his staff for the delicious meal, the individuals and businesses who donated items for the auction, and to Mayor David Grissom, who won the bid for the framed drawing of Russellville High School, a drawing by local artist Doug Allen.

As always, the Russellville community so graciously supported efforts for improving student opportunities.

Foundation members are currently selling RHS prints for $30.00.

They can be purchased at the schools, the central office, the Chamber or from a Foundation member.

Profit from sales will go toward future scholarships for students and teacher classroom projects.

For information, contact 256-331-2001.
