Ruth Smith, 83, Russellville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services were Friday, April 5, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. James McCullar, Bro. Dennis Steward and Bro. Roger Bond officiating. Interment was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Rodney Smith, Joey Smith, Trevor Hallmark, Kelby Hallmark, Cody Smith and Jacob Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Smith and Caleb Smith.

She was preceded in death by husband, Vennie Smith; parents, John Henry and Nancy Searcy; daughter-in-law, Vikki Reed Smith; grandchildren, Jimmy Don Frederick and Hannah Smith; several siblings.

She is survived by sons, Dwayne Smith and wife, Janice, Bill Smith and late wife, Vikki Reed Smith, Gary Smith and wife, Cyndi; step-son, Herman Smith and wife, Barbara; sister, Johnnie Vandiver; brother, Louie Searcy and wife, Marcelene; grandchildren, Rodney Smith, Janna Hallmark, Barbara Smith, Joey Smith, Jennifer West;  great grandchildren, Trevor Hallmark, Kelby Hallmark, Cody Smith, Jacob Smith, Caleb Smith, Kamri Sears, Daniel Smith, Sydnee West, Audree West, Kira Smith, Will Bostic, Katie Bostic; a host of  nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church.
