Mildred Greene Farrar, 93, Nashville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville, with Rev. Richard Parker officiating. Burial was in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, Miss.

She is survived by her son, Benny Farrar and wife, Francisca, Nashville; daughter-in-law, Pat Farrar, Franklin, Tenn.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Hubert S. Greene, Rogersville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlos Farrar; son, Gary Dean Farrar; parents, Offie and Vesta Greene; and brother, Lyman H. Greene.
