Thomas Arnold Pounders, 79, Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012.
He lived his entire life in Franklin County and attended the Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Bro. Mark Daniel officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery at Liberty Hill.
Survivors include children, Earl Pounders and wife, Cindy, Denise Ogle and husband, Billy, Patrick Pounders and wife, Rebecca, Waylon Pounders and wife Sabrina, all of Phil Campbell; mother of his children, Dean Pounders; brothers, Tedford Pounders, Johnny Pounders; sisters, Louise Walker, Naomia Postell, Vergie Vanhorn, Sally Williams; grandchildren, James McCulloch and wife, Christy, Jessie McCulloch and wife, Lucy, Kyle Pounders and wife, Natalie, Heather Waldecker and husband, Travis, Chris, Beth and Christy Pounders, Cody Gassoway, Billy and Robert Ogle; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Blake, Lily, Faith, Kairi, Hunter, Christian, Katie, Gracelynn, Nicholos (George).
Pallbearers were Kyle Pounders, James McCulloch, Jessie McCulloch, Chris Pounders, and Joshua Garrett.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Pounders; parents Thomas and Claudie Oliver Pounders; brother, Ethridge Pounders; sisters, Marvline Cochran and Audrey Carroll.
