Margie Hester, 88, Russellville, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2012, at her residence.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with grandsons, David and Michael Jones officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tony Hester, Jr., Clint Nunley, Alex Jones, David Jones and Michael Jones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Hester; parents, Jessie and Ersel Martin; siblings, Jessie Bibb Martin, Billy Martin, Jimmy Martin, Charlie Martin and Mary Sutton.
She is survived by her children, Tony  Hester and wife, Donna, Donnie Joe Hester and wife, Cindy, Linda Jones and husband, Buddy; grandchildren, Tony Hester, Jr, and wife, Stephanie, Stephanie Nunley and husband, Clint, David Jones and wife, Laura, Michael Jones and wife, Karen; seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church.

Special thanks to SouthernCare Hospice staff, especially Ruby, Misty and Dawn for their kind and diligent care of mother and devoted friends at Southwood Gardens.
