William “Bill” Martin Chambers, 69, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at UAB Hospital.
Mr. Chambers was a city employee of Phil Campbell.
Graveside services were held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Mars Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Frances Chambers; children, Qua-sha Cooper, Tony Cole and wife, Sharon, April Wollenzien and husband, Bobby; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Berry; special aunt, Clara Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lula Chambers; daughter, Vicki Cole Galloway; granddaughter, Amanda Galloway Crane; and great-grandson, Christopher Hall Crane.
