FEMA assistance is still available for storm victims
Federal Emergency Management Agency authorities in Russellville have said few county residents affected by the tornados of April 27 have registered with the agency for assistance.
FEMA can help area residents find temporary housing, and if they are eligible, money is available for personal property losses.
But it is up to the residents to seek out the assistance by registering with FEMA.
Take a few moments to register online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) then visit the Disaster Recovery Center at the Recreation Department in Russellville.
To receive assistance, victims need to be proactive and seek out assistance from FEMA, because FEMA will be unable to locate all storm victims.
