Quarry issue raises passion for homeowners
Residents of the Halltown community and the county commission met this week regarding the possibility of placing a weight limit on Co. Rd. 25.
The move would have allowed residents more time to build their case for stopping a rock quarry from moving into the community.
The commission, on the other hand, is faced with a difficult task of deciding what can and cannot or should and should not be done.
The debate is already getting heated, and will only get worse as time progresses.
But it is important that all county residents and elected officials look at all issues from all angles when making important decisions. Sometimes, the things we want, are not that simple to get.
It takes everyone working together to look at the issues involved.
