Volunteering for library is great community service
Libraries are a valuable resource for any community as they allow citizens free access to information spanning all areas of human endeavor as well as many works of fiction that offer entertainment.
They provide students an extra resource for research projects and are a good source of youth books to help young students boost their reading skills.
Of course for a library to be successful, it needs people to help operate it. The Russellville Public Library is no different.
The library is in desperate need of volunteers to help keep the doors open so citizens of Russellville and residents of Franklin County can have access to the valuable information it contains.
If you are at least 18-years-old and have time to spare, please consider volunteering and help keep the library a valuable asset for the community.
