Veta Mae Warhurst, 69, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native of Franklin County, but had lived most of her life in Colbert County. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Ottie Sandusky officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens in Tuscumbia.
She is survived by children, Brady Warhurst and wife, Donna, of Russellville, Tony Warhurst and wife, Brenda, of Phil Campbell, Randy Warhurst and wife, Linda, of Tuscumbia; sister, Martha Farr, of Russellville, brothers, Coy Burnett, of Russellville, Roy Burnett, of Phil Campbell; eight grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Gilbert Warhurst; parents, Dock and Della Burnett; sister, Mary Ellen West; brother, Hubert Burnett.
