Hollis Ray Morrow, 71, of Tuscumbia, Ala., passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. Morrow was a lifelong resident of Colbert County.  He was the owner and operator of S & D Trucking Company.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Chad Beck officiating.  Burial was in Hyde Cemetery in Littleville.

He is survived by his wife, Mattie Mae Morrow, of Littleville; daughters, Kathy Murphy and husband, David, of Littleville and Charlotte Long and husband, Marvin, of Town Creek; son, Doug Morrow and wife, Phyllis, of Littleville; brother, Gary Morrow, of Littleville; sisters, Shirley Robinson, of Muscle Shoals, Eva Dale Woods, of Muscle Shoals, and Verlon Tilley, of Illinois; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Sanford; son, Steve Morrow; parents, Dave and Virginia Morrow; brothers, Clayton, Herbert, and Dave Jr.; sister, Stine Miller.
