As people finalize their holiday shopping and put the finishing touches on travel plans, The Franklin County Times would like to extend our best holiday wishes to our readers.

Christmas is usually a holiday that brightens spirits and creates wonderful memories to be cherished for years to come.

We hope this year is no different since 2010 has been a tough year for many people in Franklin County and some good memories would be welcomed by many in the community.

We would also like to thank the many people who contributed food, toys and money to charitable causes so less fortunate families could also share in the holiday cheer.
