We at The Franklin County Times have much to be thankful for this time of year.

The economy has been rough throughout the nation and many newspapers have felt the crunch.

Thanks to our loyal readers, we have not had the budget issues many other papers have faced.

We thank you for your dedication to our paper as we try to deliver a top-notch product to you every Wednesday and Saturday.

Without you, we would not be what we are today.

As you go about your holiday plans, whether they included staying at home, visiting family or traveling to the Iron Bowl, be careful and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
