Homemakers host fundraiser

Items for sale will include baby quilts, candles, Christmas ornaments, painted glass, aprons and many other items. Baked good such as cakes, cookies and peanut brittle will also be for sale.
The Mountaintop Homemakers Club is an organization with the purpose of serving the community.
Among the projects the club conducted in 2010, the club has donated 25 baby blankets to the Russellville Hospital, 50 throws to Russellville Health Care, 10 soldier boxes, 12 totes with supplies to Safeplace and they sent cards to St. Jude’s Hospital and the veteran’s hospitals.
“Everything we make goes out into the community, and events like the bazaar and bake sale help us have the funding to do all these things,” club member Kathy Snider said. “We are always looking for more people that we can help.”
Anyone who has a question about the fundraiser on Nov. 20 or that needs help from the Mountaintop Homemakers Club can contact Kathy Snider at 256-332-1142.
