Give thanks to the veterans who sacrificed so much
Thursday people across the nation will celebrate Veterans Day to show appreciation for the men and women who have served in the United States armed services.
Without their sacrifices, we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms we hold so dear in this nation.
Some of the veterans were wounded fighting for this country while others had to spend time away from loved ones to keep the world a safer place.
From the few remaining veterans of World War II to the many veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, they are all heroes of the United States.
Take time Thursday to personally thank all the veterans you know.
They deserve it.
