Red Bay wins OT thriller

RED BAY —  The Tigers needed a win Friday night to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot, but had to go into overtime to get it.

Red Bay trailed Hatton 6-0 for most of the game, but a touchdown pass from Hunter Childers to Kevin Hastings tied the game.

Chase Lindsey ended the game with a touchdown run in overtime to give the Tigers the 12-6 victory.

With the win Red Bay improves to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in region play.

The Tigers are fifth in the region and there is a four-way tie for first place.
