Run-off set for July 13

The party primary run-off election will be Tuesday, July 13. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Democratic run-off features the top two vote-getters in the sheriff’s race. Russellville

Police Capt. Shannon Oliver will face Phil Campbell Police Sgt. Terrell Potter. The race for attorney general is also on the Democratic ballot.

The Republican run-off is highlighted by the governor’s race between Bradley Byrne and Dr. Robert Bentley. It also includes the race for state agriculture commissioner and public service place one.
