Golden Tiger golfers finish second

The Russellville golf team opened its season Monday night with a second-place finish at Twin Pines.
Alex Pounders and Justin Overton each shot 39 for Russellville to lead the Golden Tigers.
Shoals Christian finished first with a team score of 144. Russellville shot 161.
Brooks (181) was third, Deshler (186) finished fourth and Colbert Heights (222) finished fifth.
The Golden Tigers will play again Thursday at the Tennessee Valley Country Club.
