Terry Saban to speak at banquet

By Staff
Jonathan Willis
TThe first lady of Alabama football will be the guest speaker for the annual Quinn’s Ranch banquet next month.
Terry Saban, the wife of University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban, will speak during the annual banquet on March 25.
The location of the banquet has not been determined, but should be announced soon.
Quinn’s Ranch is a boys’ home located between Red Bay and Vina. Most of the boys placed there are from Franklin County.
The ranch does not qualify for federal funding because it is a Christ-centered home. Federal funding does not go to facilities that are religion-based.
In years past, the annual banquet has drawn names such as former Alabama running back Bobby Humphrey, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, former Alabama quarterback Steadman Shealey and NFL Hall of Fame member John Hannah.
Lowery expects another record crowd with Saban’s appearance.
Individual tickets will be sold and special VIP group seating close to the stage will also be available.
