Holiday changes postal window schedule

The United States Postal Service has announced some holiday schedule changes for their Russellville office.
The Russellville Post Office will close its window at noon on Thursday in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
Mail clerk Kelly Culpepper said the closure will not affect regular mail delivery on Thursday or Saturday.
The post office will be closed on Friday and will the window will not re-open until Monday, Jan. 4. Mail delivery on Saturday will not be changed.
Culpepper said the post office has been getting numerous phone calls about checks normally delivered on the first and third of every month.
