2010 brings possibility for new beginnings

The year that we are saying goodbye to has been taxing on our nation and many of our county residents.
2009 will be remembered for one of history’s largest economic meltdowns that caused thousands to lose their jobs and many more to lose their savings.
Thankfully our nation is a resilient one and has always overcame challenges.
With the calendar turning to 2010, there is hope for a better and brighter day.
It is our hope that Franklin County will sustain and thrive into the new year and new decade.
We will all have to do our parts here at home, but a brighter day is ahead for our region and nation.
It is exciting to think of the possibilities we could see, but it won’t happen over night. Good luck to each of you as we look towards a new day.
