Thomas Earl McDaniel

Thomas Earl McDaniel, 69, of Russellville, Ala., passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009. The visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Truman Kimbrough officiating.
The interment service will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Landon McDaniel, Billy McDaniel, Harold McDaniel, Darryl McDaniel, Virgil Kimbrough and Buddy Waldrep. He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Charles McDaniel and Amelia McBrayer McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by his children, Kim Olson Duncan and husband, Randy, Aaron McDaniel and wife, Tammy; brothers, Harold and Billy McDaniel; sister, Gail Waldrep; grandchildren, Lucas McDaniel, Megan McDaniel, LCPL Nicholas McDaniel USMC, Samantha Olson and Jessica Olson.

Bill Clark Jr., 52, of Russellville, Ala. passed away on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009.
The visitation will be from 6 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009 at Akins Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Cummings and Bro. Kirk Bishop officiating. The interment service will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Ricky Murray, Randy Vandiver, David McAnalley, Brooks Clark, Mike Williams, Bradley Jones, Richard Cole, Jr. and Rick Cole. Honorary pallbearers are Elvis Tidwell Sr., Leon Myers, Dewayne Greenhill, Johnny Willis, and Billy Willis.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Gene Clark, Donald Wayne Clark, Sr., sister-in-law, Pam Clark; grandparents, Sherman and Ruby Clark, Wade and Gladys Brown.
He is survived by his parents, William and Julia Clark; daughter, Christy Melissa Clark; son, Billy Wayne Clark; step-son, Johnathan Kirk Nolen; former wife and friend, Penny Dotson; grandchildren, Maisie Beth Clark, Julia McKenzie Clark; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.
His family and all his friends will dearly miss him. His passion was dealing in the automobile business, going to auto auctions and being with his close friends.

Johnnie Marie Walker, 78, of Haleyville, Ala., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 in Florence, Ala. She was a member of County Line Methodist Church. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville, Ala.
Burial services were held at Winston Memorial Cemetery with Steve Lolley and Tommy Setliff officiating. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chester Walker; parents, John and Georgia Wright; brother George Wright; sisters, Tulsa Jones and Nadean Shook.
She is survived by her children, Sheila Mayhall, Rick Walker and Marisa Hughes; sister, Mae Batchelor; grandchildren, Tonya Cavnar, Tim Robertson, Lindsey Robertson, Chad Walker, Nicole Shepard, Walker Hughes, John Hughes, Sarah Hughes, Caleb Mayhall, Joey Davis and Melina Plants; great grandchildren, Adyson Robertson, Walker and Davis Cavnar, Keller and Owen Walker, Peyton and Myla Plants, Tiffany Barron and Sarah Beth Davis.
