Commission renews contracts, appointments

Annual contract renewals and board appointments monopolized time during the Franklin County Commission's regular meeting Monday morning.
The commission renewed the following contracts and bids for the next fiscal year: Southern Health Partners; PSI office supply'; janitorial supply bids; fuel bids; 911 contract agreement; Community Corrections contract; District Attorney agreement; Department of Youth Services; SDS Maintenance Contract; and S&W Minicomputers contract. The bids for the highway department were tabled to gain further information.
The commission appointed Roy Gober, John James and Chris Hargett to the 911 board.
The commission appointed Jerry Groce, Tony Bonds, and Kyle Defoor to the NACOLG Board.
The commission appointed Colby Hammock and Andy Schultz to the Industrial Development Board.
The commission changed the next work session to Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. and the next commission meeting to Friday, Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m.
