THURSDAY UPDATE: Prosecutors rest case in Scott murder trial

Prosecutors called their final three witnesses early Thursday morning in the capital murder trial of a Russellville woman accused of setting fire to her Signore Drive home last August.
Christie Michelle Scott, 30, of 180 Signore Drive in Russellville, is accused of setting the deadly blaze that killed her six year-old son, Mason Scott. If convicted, she is eligible for the death penalty.
Two witnesses testified Thursday morning concerning Scott's behavior in the moments and days following her son's death.
Defense attorneys will begin calling witnesses Thursday afternoon.
