Minnie L. Winsted

Minnie Lee Winsted, 83, of Florence, Ala., formerly of Belgreen, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Glenwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Winsted was a native of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Charlie Britnell officiating.
Burial will follow in Belgreen Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn McClellan, of Russellville, Lynn Shook and husband, Robert, of Phil Campbell; daughter-in-law, Brenda Winsted, of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Doris Tollison, of Russellville; brother, Ralph Miller, of Russellville; grandchildren, Robin Fugate and husband, Donnie; Amy McClellan; Alexander McClellan and wife, Pam; Stephanie Ham and husband, Danny; Jeffrey Winsted and wife, Sarah; Sarah Stein and husband, James; Tessa Norris and husband, Brandon; Jessica Balentine and husband, Josh; and Joshua Wilson; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest "Veto" Winsted; son, Jimmy Lee Winsted; parents, Johnny and Martha Miller.

Charlotte Prince Stehno, 46, of Phil Campbell, Ala., departed this walk of life Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Funeral services were held at Akins Funeral Home chapel on Friday, April 3, 2009, with Rev. Sammy Taylor officiating. Interment was in East Franklin Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jake Dill, Jonathan Dill, Jasper Copeland, Jimmy Huckaba, Joey Masterson, and Glynn Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen and Lovie Cummings and Hobart and Loretta Scott.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Tim Stehno; children, Andy Prince, Amy Prince and fianc/e, Adam Parker, Obrey Burks and husband, Joey, Talina Stehno, Illene Stehno; parents, Lemmie and Shirley Scott Cummings; sisters, Vickie Cummings, Donna Huckaba and husband, Jimmy; granddaughter, Sara Grace Burks; mother and father-in-law, Fayrene and Dennis Morgan; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Joey Mashburn; special uncle and aunt, Jack and Gertha Mashburn; nieces, Katie Copeland, Kayla Cummings, Leah Copeland; and a host of uncles, aunts and friends.
Strong in her Christian faith, she was a devoted member of Mt. View Baptist Church. Prior to retiring she was a pediatric nurse in the nursery at ECM Hospital for 23 years, "where the hands that now rest within God's grasp helped bring countless lives into this world."

Ora Christine Duggar, 87, of Decatur, formerly of Russellville,
passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. James McCullar officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Marion and Mamie Ethel Allen; husband, Cecil Duggar; grandson, Randy Bragwell; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Duggar; and eight brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Duggar, of Trinity, Ala., daughter, Nell Jones; sister, Lola Coggins, of Wis.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
