PC tops Lady Tigers

The Lady Bobcats needed extra innings, but improved to 4-6 overall and 2-1 in area play after defeating Red Bay 8-7 in eight innings.
Phil Campbell scored first, putting two runs on the board in the second inning before the Lady Tigers took the lead with four runs in the fourth inning.
Red Bay added to its lead with another run in the fifth to take a 5-2 lead.
Phil Campbell tied the game in the sixth to force extra innings.
Red Bay scored early to take the lead, but in the bottom half of the inning, Phil Campbell loaded the bases before a double drove in the winning run.
Whitley Yocum led the Lady Bobcats with three doubles while Erica Halcomb and Shaela Pace each had a single and a double. Sarah Hester doubled and Jessica Halcomb singled to round out the hitting for Phil Campbell.
Lauren Pacetti doubled twice and singled while Whitney Sharp, Emily Cox and Sierra Hubbard hit three singles each for RBHS.
Holly Hammock tripled and singled while Hannah Sharp, Kirstin Sharp, Lauren Williams and Taylor Hester had one single each.
