Marvalene Warren

Marvalene Warren, 78 of Red Bay, died Wednesday, Oct. 15,, 2008 at Red Bay Hospital.
She was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Franklin County to Robert and Bertha Horton Davidson. She was a factory worker and a member of Atwood Baptist Church and Eastern Star.
She is survived by two children, Shelia Snider (Jerry) and Robert Gober (Janeice), all of Red Bay; three grandchildren, Shonda Conwill, of Tishomingo, Miss., Kevin Woodruff (Marsha), of Booneville, Miss. and Adara Cromeans (Kevin), of Red Bay; three step-grandchildren, Wayne Snider, Brittnie Snider and Allan Snider, all of Pulaski, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Deaton, of Golden, Miss., Cole Deaton, Devin Woodruff and Landon Woodruff, all of Booneville, Miss.; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ellis Warren and her brother, T.L. Davidson.
She was buried in Sparks Chapel Cemetery in Vina.
Pallbearers were Jamie Morgan, Turner Richardson, Kevin Cromeans, Kevin Woodruff, Dale Dulaney and Scott Seal.
Sibyl Gardner

Sibyl Gardner, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 at her residence in Saltillo, Miss.
She was born March 10, 1920 in Golden, Miss. to John and Gerogia Odell Runions Bostick. She was an employee of Belk-Hudson for 30 years and a member of Saltillo First United Methodist Church where she served on the Administrative Council, Pastor Committee, Nominating Committee and was a member of Path Finders. She also worked in vacation bible schools and other activities.
She is survived by on son, Terry Gardner, of Saltillo, Miss.; one granddaughter, Shannon Martin (Mario), of Murphreesboro, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, Lainey Martin and Jana Martin, both of Murphreesboro, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle "Pete" Gardner, her parents and her sister, Joyce Morrow.
She was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Red Bay.
Audie Lee Emerson

Audie Lee Emerson, 95 of Hamilton, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008.
She was born Sept. 24, 1913 in Franklin County to Finis and Ozie Strickland Mitchell. She is a retired employee of Detroit Slacks.
She is survived by four sons, Ray Emerson (Bobbie), of East Moline, Ill., Lecel emerson (Peggy) of Davenport, Iowa, Nello Emerson (Simmonette) and Don Emerson (Joy), all of Hamilton; two daughters, Sue Childers and Bonnie Emerson, both of Hamilton; two daughters-in-law, Merla Emerson and Nixola Emerson, both of Hamilton; one sister, Gladys Holland, of Tremont, Miss.; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerogia; three sons, ONeal, Andy (Little Boy) and Jack Emerson; son-in-law Raymond Childers and daughter Patsy.
She was buried in Single Springs Cemetery.
Arlice Pinkard

Arlice Purmon Pinkard, 75, of Russellville, passed away Oct. 17, 2008.
He retired as a supervisor from Fontaine after 32 years of service and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with James McCullar officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Vertie Mae Pinkard; son, Steve Pinkard; sister, Beatrice Hicks, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Howell; parents, William and Ida Pinkard, three sisters and eight brothers.
Willomae Sanford

Willomae Sanford was born May 29, 1934, in Franklin County.
She passed away Oct. 18, 2008, at the age of 74. She was a Baptist.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Pinkard Funeral Home with Curtis Taylor officiating. Burial was in Blue Spring Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Linda Stanfield and Randy Sanford; sisters, Marie Engelthaler and Fayrene Caldwell; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Annielee Motes Ergle; son, Billy Sanford; sister, Rachel Porter; brothers, Sonny, Nathan, Amos and Emmit Ergle.
Tina Jane McLemore

Tina Jane McLemore, 42, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Denvil Keele and Bro. Scott McLemore officiating. Burial was in Spruce Pine Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Welch; children, Kimberly McLemore, Adam McLemore, Cody McLemore; parents, Oscar Owen and Ima Sue McLemore; sisters, Bonnie Hopson, Tonya Hawkins, Charlotte Cole; brothers, David McLemore, Wayne McLemore, Joseph McLemore and Scott McLemore.
Pallbearers were Tony Gray, Nathan Gray, Anthony Gray, Ralph McLemore, Donald Quade, Chris Hawkins, Mark Brazell, Norman Hawkins and Pat Dougherity.
John Samuel Glenn

John Samuel Glenn, 70, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Russellville Hospital after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Eddie Caskey officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Glenn; daughter, Brenda (Thomas) Britnell; step-daughter, Shirley (Rick) Thompson; step-sons, Carl (Tammi) Thompson, Tim (Tami) Thompson, Darren (Janice) Thompson; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Fisher, Sandra Glenn; brothers, Jerry Glenn and Bob Glenn; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dora Glenn; brother, Bill Haye; sister, Sharon Burrow.
He was a member of Russellville Church of Christ. He worked 10 years as a Pillsbury salesman, 10 years at Tool and Die and 20 years at Clark Pulley as a machine operator. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard working man at home and work, and will be missed by all.
