Roxy continues to provide stage for local talent

By Staff
What a show.
A new generation of Franklin County residents are being shown what folks a little older already know – the Roxy Theater is a great place for a show.
The historic theater is drawing talent from around the area, not to mention from across the country.
The Roxy hosted a concert Thursday night as part of the W.C. Handy Music Festival and drew several hundred guests.
It is good to see such a venue being used again. It is a treasure for Franklin County.
The Franklin County Arts and Humanities Council has worked hard to make sure the theater is able to host the types of shows that are coming there.
The great part of it is that local talent has a platform to showcase their skills. And there is no shortage of talent here.
