The Russellville High School Show Choir will present their final performance of the year tomorrow night at the RHS Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.
RHS Choir Director George Crummie said the show choir has been working on the upcoming performance since January. The show will include about 25 songs.
"We will be performing a variety of music telling the history of Rock 'n Roll," Crummie said.
The hour-long performance include "We Will Rock You," "Uptown Girl," and "Dust in the Wind."
The choir will perform dances during the performance. The choreographer for the show is Patrice Burcham Smith. The lighting will be done by Bryan Hall and Echo Media. The wardrobe will consist of black pants, and t-shirts designed by Ralph Parrish at Graph-x Design.
"We have worked very hard this year and this performance will culminate the entire year," Crummie said.
The middle school show choir, under the director of Carrie Morgan, will also perform during the show.
"They are doing to perform a 1970s review," Crummie said.
The RHS and RMS show choir members are selected through auditions annually. There are 30 students in RMS show choir and 43 members in the RHS show choir.
Tomorrow's performance will serve as a fundraiser for the group. Admission is $5 per person. Children 12 years of age and under will be admitted free.
