BASS regional tournament
May 22-23
DECATUR – The BASS Club World Championship (BCWC) Regional Tournament, a qualifier for the World Championship, will be held Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23. Ten regional tournaments are held throughout the year with winners from each advancing to the BASS Club World Championship, which is set for Oct. 6-11. UNA fundamentals basketball camp
June 2-5
FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama women's basketball program will hold a fundamental camp for girls grades 3-12 Monday, June 2-Friday, June 5 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuition is $150 with a group rate of $135 for three or more registrations sent together. June 6-7
FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama women's basketball program will hold position camp Friday, June 6-Saturday, June 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday for girls in grades 9-12. Tuition is $125. For more information, call (256) 765-4615 or (256) 765-4161.
Men's softball tournament
June 7
GUIN – A men's Class C and D class softball tournament will be held Saturday, June 7 at the city field. There will be a three home run limit and the fee is $150 per team. T-shirts will be provided to top three teams and 44-core balls will be used. The deadline to enter is Thursday, May 29. June 16-18
FLORENCE – The University of North Alabama women's basketball program will hold a commuter shooting camp Monday, June 16-Wednesday, June 18 from 8:30 a.m. until noon for girls in grades 3-12. Helen Keller Festival races
June 28
TUSCUMBIA – The 30h annual Helen Keller Festival will sponsor a 5-mile race and 1-mile fun run Saturday, June 28 at 8 a.m. at the Colbert County Courthouse.
