RED BAY – Ciara Harville made sure the East Franklin junior girls avoided being upset by Vina in the second round of the Franklin County Tournament Thursday night.
Harville had a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds to go along with five steals and five blocks as the Lady Rebels beat Vina 21-17.
Kendra Baker and Mattie Benford scored four points apiece for East Franklin.
Emily Davidson finished with a game-high 13 points and six steals for Vina.

RED BAY – Jacob Parker scored 19 points, including 15 in the second half, and finished with six steals as the Tharptown A-boys defeated Phil Campbell 49-23 Thursday night.
Wade Berryman added nine points and six rebounds, while Wesley Bordon and Drew Ergle each had five points. Brandon Cothom added two points and eight rebounds.
Jake Dill paced Phil Campbell with 10 points.

RED BAY – The Red Bay B-boys earned a trip to the semifinals with a 36-18 win over Vina Thursday night.
Red Bay only led 12-11 after the first quarter but the Tigers clamped down and held Vina to only four points in the final three quarters.
Bradley Patterson led Red Bay with a game-high 10 points, while Austin Malone and Hunter Childers each had seven.
Adam Pharr led Vina with eight points..
