Terry Lee Hargett, 46, of Spruce Pine, passed away Dec. 19 at his home.
He was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Belgreen Church of Christ. Terry was a 1979 graduate of Belgreen High School.
Funeral services were held Dec. 21 at Pinkard Funeral Home with Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery in Belgreen.
He is survived by parents, Cosey and Jewel Hargett, of Spruce Pine; sister, Cheryl Foster, of Huntsville; brothers, Gary Hargett and wife, Judy, of Belgreen, Jeff Hargett and wife, Annette, of Belgreen; nephew, Spencer Hargett and niece, Darby Hargett.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Luther and Cora Hargett and John and Ora Harmon.
Carlos Robinson

Carlos Robinson, 54, of Red Bay, died Dec. 18, 2007 at Helen Keller Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1953 in Alabama to Elvert and Dessie Mitchell Robinson. He was a truck driver for 40 years and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. J.C. Blackburn officiating. Burial followed at Ebenezer Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gaylan Robinson, of Red Bay; daughter, Tamera Lambert (Toby), of Iuka, Miss.; son, Terry Robinson, of Tupelo; step-sons, Anthony Rainey (Jennifer) of East Lawrence, Steven Rainey (Karen) and Brant Rainey (Deeane), all of Hatton; sister, Glenda Nell Garrison, of Red Bay; grandchildren, Tyler Durham and Tanner Robinson; seven step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Toby Lambert, Anthony Rainey, Steven Rainey, Brant Rainey, Jerry Burks and Wade Humphres.
Telmar Scott

Telmar Scott, 88, of Vina, died Dec. 17 at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton.
He was born Nov. 17, 1919 in Alabama to Tom and Allie Overton Scott. He was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He was a member of the Church of God Prophecy in Vina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Scott, sons, T.W. Scott and Jackie Scott, parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay with Bro. Doyle Peterson and Bro. A.H. Akins officiating.
Burial followed at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Vina.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Scott (Kathy) of Vina; sisters, Artie Reid, of Hamilton, Eloise Mobley, of Red Bay, Rosella Pounders, of Russellville; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Hewert Scott, Jeramie Scott, Dean Scott, Rodney Scott, Josh Raper and Todd Raper.
Heather Leah Hardin

Heather Leah Hardin, 32, of Pompano Beach, Fla., died Dec. 13 in Deerfield, Fla.
She was born Oct. 3, 1975 in Red Bay to Glen and Kayle Page Hardin. She graduated from Russellville High School and attended Vina High School and Belgreen High School.
She attended UNA, the University of Alabama and Northwest Shoals. She was in the Arts and Entertainment business for eight years.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Addie Page, her grandfather, Ernie Hardin and sister-in-law, Pamela Hardin.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19 at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay with Bro. Coye Marbutt and Bro. Billy Nichols officiating.
Burial followed at Old Burleson.
Survivors include her parents, Glen and Kayle Hardin, of Vina; brothers, Jerry Hardin and Terry Hardin (Karie), all of Vina; grandfather, David Q. "Jake" Page, of Red Bay; grandmothers, Willie Mae Page, of Red Bay and Ruth Hardin, of Belgreen; aunt, Kathy Grissom, of Russellville; uncle, David Page, of Decatur; special nephews, T.J. Hardin and Dylan Hardin, both of Vina and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Terry Hardin, Jerry Hardin, Steven Page, Todd Page, Barry Oliver, Brad Bolton and Brad Pounders..
Honorary bearers were Terry Glen Hardin, Jr. and Dylan Chance Hardin.
