Teachers, students, parents, businesses step up to the plate

The Fall Festival at East Franklin was a success. The gym was filled with people playing games, buying food and just having a good time.
The East Franklin Fall Festival is the school's only major fundraiser so it's important to have a good turnout. This year the Festival put just over $11,000 in the school's operational budget to buy things like cleaning supplies and tissue. Schools are in a crunch right now, especially a small, close-knit school like East Franklin.
This school thrives only on the support that it gets from the community that surrounds the school.
Without this support, it is certain that this "gem" our county has would not exist.
Thank you to the parents who support the school, the teachers who staff it, the students who learn from it and the community who supports it. Thank you for supporting them with the donations and for the moral support. And, most of all, thank you for making East Franklin's Fall Festival a success. They could not do it with out you.
