Tommie Jane Thomas

Tommie Jane Thomas, age 67, of Bear Creek, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2005, at her residence.
Mrs. Thomas was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. She was retired from Shoals Supply as the secretary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Lura Shipman; an infant son, Tommy Lee Thomas; and a sister, Alene Green.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Cecil Woodruff and Bud Ferell officiating. Interment was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Lecil V. Thomas; two sons, Ricky Thomas and wife Mary, of Tuscumbia, and Roger Thomas and wife Sandra, of Muscle Shoals; two sisters, Frances White of Bear Creek and Peggy Wilson of Muscle Shoals; a brother, Donald Shipman of Hillsdale, Illinois; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
