Gunn, Mathis

Charlotte Gunn and her fianc Dockery Cates of Enterprise, and Jim Gunn of Stonewall announce the engagement of their daughter, Kala Louise Gunn, to James Christopher Mathis of Bay Springs, son of Ed and Ellen Mathis of Bay Springs.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 24, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Lake Coma Baptist Church.
Miss Gunn is the granddaughter of Edwin and Mary Jo Gunn of Stonewall and the late M.C. "Chunk" and Audrie Bentley of Rose Hill.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Sylva Bay Academy and a 2002 graduate of Mississippi College of Beauty Culture. She is a licensed cosmetologist and is employed at Le'Maxim Salon in Meridian.
Mr. Mathis is the grandson of Bonnie Mathis of Bay Springs and the late Causey Mathis, Collis White of Pensacola, Fla. and Betty Mottley of North Carolina.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Sylva Bay Academy and is employed with Chris Albritton Construction.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
