Gresham, Grant

Emily Joy Grant and Miles Edward Gresham were married Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Les Newsom officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. Fred Grant of Meridian, and Dr. and Mrs. Miles Gresham of Birmingham, Ala.
Nuptial music was provided by Barry Germany, pianist; Vince Massimino, violinist; Susie Johnson, flautist; Stephanie Garrett, cellist; Charles Gates, trumpeter and Patton Rice, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a designer gown of imported white silk satin featuring a fitted dropped waistline with clusters of Swavorski crystals. The skirt was accented with inverted side pleats with embroidered jeweled appliques. She wore a tiered cathedral-length veil with a hyacinth tiara of pearls and clear crystals.
Stoner Huff served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Taylor Gresham, sister of the bridegroom, Caroline Fair, Mary Ann Kahlmus, Ann Magee, Tricia McDowell, Whitney Petty, Katie Pigford, Lauren Reece, Molly Rutherford, Clare Smith and Mary Linley Swaney.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Cole Gresham, brother of the bridegroom, Doug Grant, brother of the bride, David Black, Ryan Davis, Matthew Forester, Gray Hardison, Bo Johnson, Rob Shaw, Brian Sorgenfrei and Jonathan Vines.
A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony. On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the bridegroom hosted a rehearsal party at Weidmann's.
After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
