Retired factory worker/farmer
PHILADELPHIA Services for John A. Johnson will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Old Pearl Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Wade Chappell officiating. Burial will be in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, 82, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Regency Hospital in Meridian. He served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Johnson of Philadelphia; sons, Bobby Lee Johnson and Don Andrew Johnson, both of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, John Dee Johnson, in 1945.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Sarah H. Rogers, 60, of Stonewall, who died Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
