Land, Jimerson

Mrs. Robert Douglas Land of Butler, Ala. announces the engagement of her daughter, Leanna Gilmer Land, to Jason Patrick Jimerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clyde Jimerson of Butler. Miss Land is also the daughter of the late Dr. Robert Douglas Land.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 15, 2004, at Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga.
Miss Land is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gray Gilmer of Sulligent and the late Mr. Gilmer and Mrs. R.O. Land of Gilbertown and the late Mr. Land.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Patrician Academy received a degree in textile engineering and graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University.
Miss Land is employed as a Cabling Manager for Shaw Industries, a division of Berkshire Hathaway in Aiken, S.C.
Mr. Jimerson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stafford of Gilbertown, Ala. and Mrs. James Jimerson of Gilbertown and the late Mr. Jimerson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Patrician Academy and received his degrees in chemistry and molecular biology from Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Mr. Jimerson is employed in Aiken, S.C., as a polymerization manager for Shaw Industries, a division of Berkshire Hathaway.
