Services for Gail Cunningham Lang will be held today at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Bates officiating. Burial will be in Collinsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Lang, 63, of Collinsville, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. She was retired from Bell South and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and the Keenager Group at church. She was active in local church and community activities and was a former hospice volunteer.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Howard Lang of Collinsville; a daughter, Julie Denise Lang of Jackson; a son, Michael Howard Lang of Collinsville; a brother, Bob Cunningham and his wife, Elaine, of Bailey; and a cousin, Jane McElwee of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. Cunningham Jr. and Virginia Cunningham.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Collinsville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Allen, Mack Foy, Rob Landstreet, Scott Landstreet, John Lang, Bobby Orr, Greg Orr and John Easley Rawlings.
Honorary pallbearer will be Kelly Ezell.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Scottie Myers will be held today at noon at Old Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County. Burial will be in the church cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Myers, 30, of Noxapater, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in Philadelphia.
Survivors include his parents, Wendell and Anne Myers of Noxapater; a son, Devin Scott Myers of Corinth; a sister, Wendy Myers Ray of Noxapater; and two nephews.
QUITMAN Graveside services for Raymond Ronald Smith will be held today at 2 p.m. at Stroud Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy Braddock officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith, 57, of Quitman, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his mother, Louise Smith of Quitman; sons, Ronnie Smith of Shubuta and Todd Smith of Saraland, Ala.; daughters, Suanna Cross and Myra Gorman, both of Wilmer, Ala., Meridith Byrd of Lucedale, Tracey Tapia of Mobile, Jamie Watson of Saraland and Rhonda Smith of Theodore, Ala.; a sister, Sharlene Ezell of Quitman; and 14 grandchildren.

PHILADELPHIA Services for G.A. "Sleepy" Posey will be held today at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia with the Revs. James Twiner and Jerry Beam officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Posey, 77, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia and Neshoba County. He was a sales supervisor for Hardin's Bakery for 35 years.
Mr. Posey was owner and operator of Western Auto in Philadelphia for many years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in World War II.
He was an active member and past potentate of Hamasa Temple Shrine, a member of Philadelphia Masonic Lodge and Royal Order of Jesters. He was devoted to the Neshoba County community through civic activities and school athletics.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky Posey Williams of Brandon; a son, Al Posey and his wife, Kathy, of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Rebecca Williams, Chris Posey, Austin Posey, Christopher Evans and Ken Evans; brothers, Dr. R.A. Posey Sr. and Bobby Glynn Posey Sr., both of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June Langford Posey.
Memorials may be made to Shriner Children Hospitals in care of Hamasa Temple Hospital Transportation Fund, P.O. Box 365, Meridian, MS 39302.
