Amber Marie Winford of Meridian and Stephen Donald Wilson Jr. of Lexington, S.C., were married Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Dan B. Wax Sr. officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David Alan Winford of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Donald Wilson Sr. of Lexington, S.C.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Phil D. Griggs and James W. Winford Sr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Wilson, and Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Mount Jr.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Amanda Hohol and Emily Middleton, pianists.
The bride wore a spaghetti-strap candlelight gown with crystal beading that swept into a full-length train. Her full-length veil of illusion was anchored by a crystal headpiece. She carried a bouquet was of red and pink roses.
Stephanie Elizabeth Winford of Meridian was maid of honor. Other attendants were Jennifer Michelle Winford of West Columbia, S.C., Amelia Beth Peters of Opp, Ala., Ashley Lynn Wilson and Maggie Rose Wilson, both of Lexington, S.C.
Dan B. Wax Jr. of Lexington served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were David Michael Winford, Judd F.P. Wilson and Larry J. Marmo, all of West Columbia, S.C., Aaron Cory Wilson of Lexington, Larry Jason Griggs of Mobile, Ala., and Brennan A. Bulley of Greenville, S.C.
A reception was held at The South Carolina State Museum following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Emerald Isle, N.C., the couple resides in Lexington.
