Hatcher, Freeman

Heather Lynette Freeman of Enterprise and Benjamin Troy Hatcher of Bailey were married Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Enterprise United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Hayes officiating.
Parents of the couple are Clara Freeman and Randy Freeman, both of Enterprise, and Danny and Sherry Hatcher of Bailey.
Grandparents of the bride are Jimmie and Edna Helms of Enterprise, and Huey and Glenda Freeman of Meehan.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ed and Evelyn Switzer of Little Rock, and Edna Earl Hatcher of Martin and the late William "Tillie" Hatcher.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Cathy Hamburg, organist; and Brooke D. Smith, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown featuring a rounded neckline, short sleeves and a Basque waistline. The sleeves and hemline of the skirt were sheer illusion covered with iridescent sequins and pearl appliques. The gathered skirt fell into a cathedral-length train.
Her fingertip-length veil fell from a headpiece of pearls and rhinestones. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white and yellow roses and wore wedding bands belonging to her mother and maternal grandmother. She also carried a handkerchief belonging to her late great-grandmother, Ethel Tindle.
Shannon Brown of McNeil served as maid of honor and Sunshine Farmer of Meridian was matron of honor.
Other attendants were Brandy Allen of Meridian, Janna Pearson of Diamondhead, Tracie Mallard of Enterprise, Nikki Knighton of Oxford, cousin of the bride, and Jenny Tucker of Union. Junior bridesmaid was Summer Alexander of Duffee, cousin of the bride.
Ragan Freeman of Enterprise, niece of the bride, and Shae Alexander of Duffee, cousin of the bride, were flower girls.
Jimmy Bateman of Meridian served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were David Hatcher of Bailey, brother of the bridegroom, Charles Anderson of Martin, Scotty Hatcher of Jacksonville, Fla., cousin of the bridegroom, Chris Simmons of Meridian, Trey Hatcher of Martin, cousin of the bridegroom, Sterling Evans of Bailey, Brian Freeman and Brent Freeman, both of Enterprise and brothers of the bride, Chad Allen and Lee Higginbotham of Meridian. Junior groomsmen was Jonathan Knighton of Oxford, cousin of the bride.
Daniel Freeman of Meehan, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Rice bag and bubble attendants was Madalyn Helms. Program attendant and bridal registry was Mandy Bateman.
A reception was held at Union Station in Meridian following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Apryl Williams, Amanda Harris, Melissa Harris, Stacia Newell, Shannon Hatcher and Kathy Stockton.
On the eve of the wedding, a bridesmaids luncheon was held at Crescent City Grill in Meridian and hosted by Rande Brown and Shannon Brown. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parent at Long's Fish Camp in Enterprise.
After a honeymoon in Ochos Rios and Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Meridian.
